STRANGE NODULAR IRON CASE

Chrome-moly bearing caps retain by socket head cap screws that exceed aircraft grade 8 specifications. Steel adjuster nuts. The pinion pilot bearing has been reinforced with superior D-4512 nodular and additional material. Bearing bores and reinforcing ribs are all cast with additional D-4512 material in critical areas – ribs were also carefully designed to further enhance rigidity. Machined by the same company which SVO Ford selected to manufacture all its 9” cases – Strange Engineering. Strange nodular cases are virtually indestructible therefore, the iron case is recommended for any vehicle which accepts a 9” housing and a 9” gearset.

DUTCMAN NODULAR IRON CASE

The DMI stock replacement nodular iron 9” Ford street series case is the answer for street
cruiser and mild performance vehicles. This newly designed nodular iron 3rd member case
provides an unsurpassed combination of strength and value.
The street series case is available in two bearing sizes; the 3.062” size suitable for all 28 & 31 spline
differential combinations as well as the 3.250” size for 35-spline True Track,
Detroit locker, and full spool applications. Good for cruisers to medium performance track use.
Good for up to 600hp in 31 spline, or up to 800hp in 35 spline
