Without Sacrificing Strength, the independent housing has a lightweight design (Only 20 Lbs.).Their New, fourth generation castings are poured and heat-treated in The United States, at a Foundry that utilizes modern state-of-the-art equipment and “old-school know how”. The combination of Engineering and the best Production methods available has resulted in one of the strongest aluminum independent housings in the aftermarket Automotive Industry. The stub shafts are designed for the Porsche 930 or extra heavy duty 934 constant velocity joint and are CNC machined using forged, double heat-treated 4340 chromoly material. for added strength and durability, the stub axles are supported using a Timken taper roller bearing (instead of the typical single row ball bearing their competitors use).
